Terms
Important conditions for using Security Aid's website, tools and support request process.
Website and public tools
Website content and public tool output are provided for general cyber security support. Automated results can contain errors or omissions and must be reviewed by a suitably qualified person before they are relied upon in a production, regulated or incident-response environment.
Authorised use only
You must only use Security Aid tools, guidance or services against systems, data and environments you own or are explicitly authorised to assess. Nothing on this website gives permission to test a third party.
Requests are not authorisation
Submitting a website, domain, IP address or other target through a form is an application for support only. Security testing begins only after Security Aid has accepted the engagement and written authorisation, scope and rules of engagement have been agreed.
Free support
Free support is subject to eligibility, scope and available capacity. Where Security Aid agrees to perform work for free, there is no obligation to purchase another service afterwards.
Professional engagements
Any accepted consultancy, testing or incident-response engagement may be governed by separate written terms, scope, confidentiality requirements and rules of engagement. Those agreed documents take precedence for that engagement.
